Guitar Lesson – Eagles – Hotel California

Hotel California seems to be one of those songs that forms the songbook for all beginner guitar players. This lesson introduces a new strumming technique so may be a bit difficult if you’re just starting out. If this is the case for you, you can just follow the chords in the lesson and start with a strumming pattern you already know. Once you’ve got that down then look to add the strumming as shown. In this lesson we’ll be discussing some of the techniques used (such as the chords, hammer-ons, pull-offs, timing, etc…) as well as the layout of the song.
